In the fifth round of Eurocup's Last 32 campaign Cedevita will play against CAI Zaragoza at home on Wednesday at 20:15CET.
Cedevita still has a chance to reach the eight-finals and it will be a very important game for coach Jasmin Repeša's team.
Jasmin Repeša: “We have not played a game since January 1. We needed this break and used it to prepare ourselves for the upcoming games. My players were very tired and we lacked energy in our last game against Siroki. I think we will be much more rested and focused on Wednesday. CAI Zaragoza is one of the top teams in Spain and it will be a tough game. Compared to our first meeting, in this game their coach will also have Norel and Steffanson at their disposal. Zaragoza played great against Unicaja in Copa Del Rey and lost to Real Madrid, but there is no shame in losing to Real. CAI Zaragoza is a team full of quality players. They have very good players at every position.”
Miro Bilan: “We played great in our previous game against CAI Zaragoza. We controlled the tempo of the game and that was crucial for us to win. It was probably one of the best games we have played in this season. Unfortunately, we have lost three games in a row at home now and I hope our fans have not lost faith in us because we will do our best to start winning at home again. It is a pure coincidence that we have three straight home loses and six straight road wins because we lost to Lietuvos Rytas and Besiktas at home in the last seconds of the game.”
