Veljko Mršić is the new head coach of Cedevita. He spent his last two seasons as Jasmin Repeša’s top assistant and this season he lead Cedevita to Croatian League title as an interim head coach, during the absence of Repeša.
Jasmin Repeša, previous head coach of Croatian champions, announced his departure from Cedevita to EA7 Emporio Armani Milano a few days ago and Veljko Mrsic was the logical choice for his replacement.
"Everything developed very fast. I was given the trust, which is a huge honour and an obligation for me to raise everything on a higher level or at least maintain the positions, won over the past few seasons. I am already three seasons in the club and am very familiar with the situation, with relationships inside the club and also the people around me. We will not need much time to adapt and to build the kind of team that we wish", said the new head coach of Cedevita.
