In the 9th round of Euroleague’s Group B Cedevita lost at home to EA7 Emporio Armani Milan by 82:85. This is the best loss in the history of Cedevita because Croatian champions made history by advancing to the Top 16 for the first time. With one round left before the beginning of the Top 16, Cedevita’s record is currently at 4-5 and Milan’s at 3-6, but Cedevita had won by nine points when the teams played in Round 4 in Italy and with this loss Croatian champions claimed the tiebraker.
Miro Bilan led Cedevita with 23 points, four rebounds and six assists. Marko Arapovic, who played especially great in the third quarter, totaled 16 points and seven rebounds and Fran Pilepić (8 points) made two crucial 3-pointer in the final minutes of the game.
Robbie Hummel led the guests with 21 points and eight rebounds, while Krunoslav Simon added 13 points, four rebounds and seven assists.
